Saltwater Blog: Been a while!

Things have just been slow with the tank lately... last month I did hypo salinity my tank due to a sump accident and almost killed off all of my coral... and on the same day I electrocuted myself when a lamp fell into the 18 gallon bucket of water I was holding, then dropped so I was standing in electrified water. All on my birthday too... joy

Ok... on to the tank!

Fist up is my precious Ricordea... within the last few weeks it grew a new mouth and then 3 days ago it split! Guess he's happy.. can't wait til he's HUGE.

Next up are the Little Mermaid and Hercules, they are getting big.

King Rocky... YES he is King of the tank and a beautiful King at that!

One of my many tiny starfish...

The mouth is now purple and opened up wide to eat this morning.

Here's one tentacle of my brittle starfish.. he has a voracious appetite and immediately comes out when he senses food. Hrm.. Butterfly just had to nose in on the shot too.

My purple mushrooms are getting really big and spreading. I found a tiny mushroom floating freely in the tank and it attached to this little rock so I moved it over with the others.

I hate these corals... they are zoo's and used to extend up almost an inch. For about 5 months they have just barely opened... everything else in the tank is happy, they are just moody and honestly, wish they'd just ... nevermind.

My Green Star Polyps are doing well, they are missing a center strip because some of my Jade Hermits tore through them, ripping them to shreds. The Jade Hermits are now in my sump and the GSP is thriving.
